Network & Low-Voltage Engineering Services
Data Installers offers integrated design-build engineering for commercial low-voltage projects in Southern California, combining professional infrastructure design with direct field execution by our own in-house technicians. The design-build model means we carry responsibility for the complete scope — from engineered drawings, system specifications, and conduit routing plans through the physical installation, testing, and project closeout — rather than producing a design in isolation and handing it to a separate contractor who may interpret or execute it differently than intended. In Southern California commercial construction, where design-to-field disconnects generate change orders and inspection failures, this integrated accountability matters.
Our low-voltage engineering work covers the full range of systems found in complex Southern California commercial facilities: structured cabling system design for large office campuses in Rancho Cucamonga and Pasadena, fiber optic network backbone planning for multi-building facilities and distribution centers across the Inland Empire, enterprise wireless infrastructure design developed from RF survey data and device density analysis, CCTV and IP surveillance system design for retail environments from Ontario to West Hollywood, access control system design for healthcare facilities and corporate campuses in Los Angeles County and San Bernardino County, AV and digital signage system integration design for retail, hospitality, and corporate environments throughout Southern California, and the coordination of all of these systems as an integrated low-voltage infrastructure plan for large commercial buildings or campus environments where they interact.
We produce construction-level drawings and documentation that general contractors, other trades, building inspectors, and the Authority Having Jurisdiction can actually work from — not conceptual system diagrams that leave field decisions to whoever happens to be on the job that day. Our engineering deliverables account for conduit routing given the structural and MEP constraints of the specific Southern California building being designed, cable tray and J-hook layouts, pull box location and sizing calculations, fire-rated penetration treatment in plenum and riser spaces under California code, grounding and bonding for telecommunications systems, and the field realities that a design produced only from drawings without field experience routinely misses.
